A: No, since Dr. Goldstein is a licensed physician, he can conduct a complete and thorough examination and evaluation.

Q: How old do I need to be?
A: Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Q: What do I need to bring with me?
A: You should bring the following items with you:
- Proof of California residency, such as a California Driver's License or a State of California-issued Identification Card
- Your medical records
- Your medications or list of medications you are taking

Q: What can I expect my appointment to be like?
A: We will have you complete some patient intake forms to be sure we understand your medical complaints and history. You will then meet with Dr. Goldstein who will review your documents, medications, and perform an appropriate medical History and Physical Examination.

Q: Is insurance accepted for this service?
A: Medical insurance does not cover this program.

Q: What form of payment do you accept?
A: Payment is due at the time of the exam and can be made by cash, check ar credit card.

Q: What will I receive for my fee?
A: If Dr. Goldstein deems that medical marijuana is a viable treatment for your physical condition, you will be provided a Physician Statement and Recommendation letter. This recommendation will also be filed with GreenLife docs.com, which provides you 24 hour verfication access to Dr. Goldstein's recommendation. You will also receive educational information about medical marijuana's uses and possible side effects, and relevant laws.

Q: Are follow-up evaluations included?
A: Follow up evaluations are good for up to one year.

Q: What is the purpose of the Physician's Statement and Recommendation Letter?
A: The Physician's letter is a legal document that allows you the benefit of medical marijana under the California state law. Proposition 215 was designed to protect seriously and terminally ill patients from criminal penalties for using marijuana medically.

A: The Education and Evaluation Center for Medical Marijuana recommendations are specific to the particular case, with a maximum term limit of one year. EECMM recommends you make a follow-up appointment with us before your expiration date.
